This jacket is a faithful reproduction of the USAAF Type B-3 bomber aviator pilot flight jacket, made of thicker and heavy genuine sheepskin leather. The fleece has a length of 20-22mm and the leather is a true reddish brown, matching the color of the original. The jacket also features heavy seal brown horsehide reinforcements and durable cowhide leather straps. The vintage brass buckles have an authentic look and a nickel finish, while the repro Talon zipper provides a secure front fastening. The jacket is complete with stenciling for the Army Air Force and sizing guidelines and advice are available upon request.
